Passionate about human beings, I began this quest for knowledge about my traumas after a major depression in my teens. Having traveled through Buddhist meditation (the Plum Village tradition of master Thich Nhât Hanh), Non-Violent Communication (currently undergoing certification), motivational interviewing (supervisor), I finally found a path, Relational Intelligence©, that connected me to myself, to my exiled parts and to the disidentification of my bubbles. I've been a private therapist since 2016 (member of RITMA/naturopathy) and I accompany people who wish to meet themselves in their authenticity.
During my studies for a doctorate in history in France (thesis on numismatics - L'atelier monétaire d'Arles sous Constantin Ier), I had the good fortune to volunteer for Genepi and to intervene in detention at the Maison d'Arrêt du Val d'Oise. The encounters I had there changed my vision of "bad guys" and led me to reorient my studies in criminology at the University of Montreal. I've had the opportunity to volunteer and work in many different environments: universities, cegeps, penitentiaries, halfway houses, a therapy center for adolescent addiction, citizen mediation, homelessness... In 2018, I founded my company Empatio, which offers training in Conscious Communication, empathy development (in the Rogerian sense) and mindful presence (mindfulness).
I collaborate with UQAM's Groupe de Recherche et d'Intervention en Présence Attentive (GRIPA), for which I organized the conference Méditer en prison : une porte vers la liberté intérieure. I am a graduate of UQAM's 2nd cycle short program on Attentive Presence.
I'm the parent of a young child.
