This summit is aimed at :
Healthcare and support professionals: doctors, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, physiotherapists, speech therapists, alternative or energy therapists, coaches, yoga teachers, meditation teachers, educators, social workers, emergency shelters, associations, etc. who want to enrich their own practice, take better care of the traumatized person or refer them to a "trauma-informed" specialist.
For the enlightened general public interested in psychology and more specifically to the issues of trauma, attachment and resilience.
Individual victims of trauma, suffering from attachment disorder, generalized anxiety or other symptoms with traumatic origins, seeking keys to a better understanding of their situation and ways to transcend a traumatic event.
Talking about trauma, disseminating new ways of dealing with it, freeing victims to speak out and raising awareness of the issue is a societal challenge.
Trauma is a prison. Many people are not always aware that they are carrying a trauma that is holding back their development and affecting their ability to live a fulfilling life. They are not necessarily aware that they are the victims and survivors of traumas which have not been heard, digested or soothed, and which are stored in their body or psyche.
Talking about attachment and trauma in the open, without taboos and with a great deal of kindness, in a virtual conference, accessible free of charge, can help these suffering people understand that what they are experiencing is the result of trauma, neglect, violence, shock... experienced in early childhood, in adulthood, inherited from their elders or experienced on the scale of the community, of society.
The "Trauma, Attachment & Resilience" virtual summit aims to give healthcare and support professionals the keys to spotting, soothing and caring for the signs of suffering in children or adults they encounter in their practice. We aim to shed new light on trauma, attachment wounds and their consequences for everyone, using a wide range of approaches and techniques such as Mindfulness, IFS, Polyvagal theory, EMDR, EFT...
