My name is Anne Bastide and I'm 42.
I'm here, and happy to be here to accompany you
Ever since I was a child, what has fascinated me, what makes me feel alive, is what goes on inside a human being, and what happens between us, human beings. Through introspection, reading, psychoanalysis and therapy, I'm taming my inner world.
My professional life began in music (I initially trained as a lyric singer (studied in Paris, then at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama) as a lyric singer and singing teacher.
It's an intense, demanding job, and at the same time, I'm gradually becoming aware that it's not nourishing me as much as I'd hoped, and that I'm not getting the fulfillment I'd hoped for. It was a turbulent time for me, as I was very much identified with my job.
My path becomes clearer when I turn within myself and hear the impetus to live a profession centered on relationships with others and care.
I entered the helping and accompanying professions as a nurse, first in the hospital and then in private practice, while at the same time starting to train in Non-Violent Communication® (a process I've been training for continuously since 2019).
My path as a companion widens with the training of Professional coaching and personal support approaches of the Université Catholique de l'Ouest,
and deepens with the learning of the IR® therapeutic model, in which I am trained and continue to train with great joy.
What I liked immediately on discovering IR was the relief it offers: neuro-biological reactions, emotions, thoughts, are not chosen by the individual, they are inscribed in a so-called "autonomic" nervous system over which we have no control.
From this place of observation, it is the relationship with the therapist that will enable a return to safety and the recalibration of the ANS, thanks to restorative relational experiences.
