Hello !
My encounter with Relational Intelligence® profoundly changed my vision of the world, of others and of human functioning, bringing me an inner security I'd never known before. Obviously, this was a turning point in my professional practice as a psychologist-psychotherapist, giving me a deep desire to share this experience with others.
So it's by taking care to understand how your system works and reacts, and to install relational security in the therapeutic bond that I propose to go and meet your symptoms and wounds in order to heal them.
Because it's possible to leave the world of danger, the past and insecurity behind, and taste the bond, security and present.
Welcome!
I often hear people say that it's not easy to choose your «shrink», and I totally agree, having been there myself. How do you choose? On what criteria? What do we do when no one can recommend anyone?
So I suggest you meet me through these few lines, and let yourself feel, in your body, what resonates; listen to what your nervous system sends you as information (does it say yes or no inside?).
I'm first and foremost a human being, like you, with a nervous system, a brain, emotions and sensitivity. Like you perhaps, I too am going through difficulties and suffering. That's why I've been receiving support for several years now in psychotherapy and in supervision for my professional practice, two things that seem essential to me.
Ever since I was a child, I've been passionate about understanding of human functioning, which naturally led me to study psychology and become a psychologist-psychotherapist. I soon began working with people (adults, children and adolescents, families) in private practice, while always keeping a foot in the door of medical-social institutions. After 3 years as a psychologist on the staff of a day-care center for the mentally and intellectually disabled, I joined a specialized home for the physically disabled. These experiences were extremely enriching for me, as they enabled me to meet people with atypical profiles, develop my professional skills, develop my taste for and ability to work in a team, my capacity to adapt, and discover other ways of life and other visions of the world.
With many years' experience in helping people with inner suffering, I have recently turned my research towards neuro-psycho-biology by training in the Relational Intelligence® psychotherapeutic model founded by Dr. François Le Doze (click HERE for more info), in order to deepen my understanding of the mechanisms underlying good psychological health. My approach enables me to identify what disturbs the nervous system, generating symptoms, and, above all, to identify the elements essential to its regulation: the link and the safety. I also discovered that treating the psyche was often not enough, and that we needed to treat the brain (and therefore the nervous system).
Through this profession, I've found something that gives deep meaning to my life, that makes me feel I'm in my rightful place, and that allows me to give as much as I receive. Alongside this, I'm also a musician; I sing, play guitar and piano, notably as part of a jazz/soul/blues trio. I also devote a great deal of time and importance to my own inner regulation through various activities: hiking in the mountains, cycling, yoga, meditation, rest...and family and social activities!
